Re-launched The Journalism School web site with the FatWire Content Management System, site
re-design / re-branding and improved information architecture.

Edited photos for the home page carousel and populated the site with strong and engaging images. Worked with designers and school stake holders on development of photo-rich page designs to showcase the variety of events and the energy of the school.



Collaborated with stake holders to improve clarity, usability and timeliness of web site content. Incorporated event photos into slide shows to display the energy and activity of the school, the grant-giving programs and the alumni.



Worked with the faculty to update their bios, add professional information and photos to profile pages.
Solicited, edited and shot photos.

Shot portraits of many faculty for bio pages and edited Clair Holt's photos for the Profiles in Journalism pages.

Successfully increased traffic from search engines to The Journalism School site. Goggle analytics showed the effectiveness of search engine optimization changes, the site's traffic from Google increased 110% over a one year period from 2007 to 2008.The screenshot above shows the high percentage of returning visitors, many of these users reached the site without a search engine.
